In a major operation at the Pak-Afghan Torkham border as the Anti-Narcotics Force (ANF) has recovered 17 kg heroin and 4 kg ice from the secret compartments of a truck loaded with honey bees, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Tuesday.

According to report, the value of revered drugs was estimated at around Rs246 million. 

The arrested driver belongs to Nangarhar, Afghanistan, and a case has been registered against him under the Anti-Narcotics Act. 

Opponents of government measures actually facilitate the same networks, through which the proceeds fuel terrorism, arms smuggling and organized crime.

It should be noted that drug trafficking is not just a crime; it is the largest branch of the entire crime-terror network, whose roots extend on both sides of the border and behind whose support and facilitation, political leaders stand to protect their financial interests.
