Dewlicious Farms is offering the free nature experience to the public. It’s designed to connect visitors with nature in a habitat rich in pollinators like bees and butterflies.

The wildflower trail at Dewlicious Farms is free and open to the public, with no purchase necessary from the farmstand. Co-owner Nicole Dewey created the path to help guests connect with nature in a habitat teeming with bees and butterflies.

The trail features flowers like goldenrod and common milkweed, attracting pollinators such as honeybees, bumblebees, and various butterflies, including monarchs. The farm’s location near Lake Michigan means its part of an important flyway for migrating birds and butterflies.

Located at 3598 River Road in Manistee Township, the trail is open daily from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. through Sunday, Sept. 28, weather permitting. Visitors should drive past the barn to a designated parking area marked with a sign and caution tape.

Visitors are advised to wear sturdy shoes, as the path has uneven terrain and is not stroller-friendly. Leashed pets are welcome. There are no onsite restrooms for public use.

Although exploring the trail is free, the farmstand offers a variety of seasonal goods for purchase. September offerings include peach salsa, sourdough bread, herbs, and other garden vegetables. Payment is accepted via cash, Venmo, and CashApp.
