Sleep next to a giant honeybee at Point San Pablo Harbor’s overnight music fest
An opportunity to enjoy music and sleep under the stars will be afoot when “BreakFEST Campout 2025” occurs October 25-26 at Point San Pablo Harbor in Richmond.
Organized by the Point San Pablo Habor peeps in partnership with Balanced Breakfast, the event will be “an overnight music festival” that brings a weekend of independent music, camping and community to Point San Pablo Harbor on two stages, according to organizers.
The idea for an overnight music festival took root when Point San Pablo Harbor’s clients repeatedly asked about camping following concerts there, said the Harbor’s Yaella Frankel. She told the Standard that, although the Harbor “isn’t equipped as a general campground and it would greatly impact the use of the meadow for private events and concerts,” camping associated with a late-night music concert makes sense.

Frankel highlighted that “since Sailing Goat Restaurant started serving brunch on the weekends, the experience is a fuller service with food and coffee/tea taken care of.”
Campers can use their tickets to start checking in October 25 at 2 p.m., and later enjoy dinner and drinks (for purchase) amid harbor views, and singer-songwriter folk music (free of charge) in the round at the Sailing Goat Restaurant from 4-7 p.m.
Then from 8 p.m. to 2 a.m., campers can move on to a ticketed, full-band showcase of up-tempo indie rock & electronic dance music on the indoor Clubhouse Stage at The Knot Club, adjacent to Sailing Goat.
On Sunday, October 26, campers can enjoy breakfast or lunch for purchase at Sailing Goat starting at 11 a.m., and then pack up at their own pace by 1 p.m.
Tent/ticket packages are available for $75 per person, while RV/ticket packages are available for $102.50, with add-on tickets available. Purchase tickets here.
Word is out that another overnight music festival is planned at Point San Pablo Harbor September 27, with Lars and In Charge’s international folk tunes at Sailing Goat. The Knot Club will offer bluegrass, folk and Americana with square dancing, as well as the band Bitchcraft playing. More on this event soon—and look for other musical acts to be added to both overnight events, according to Frankel.
Point San Pablo Harbor not only features Sailing Goat Restaurant and The Knot Club, but also a variety of art sculptures—a 12 ft. tall honeybee and 40 ft. long glowing crocodile among them—that have traversed the desert to Burning Man and back to find a home in its meadow. The spacious area also overlooks a beautiful harbor with next-level views of waterscapes and sunsets.
