When it comes to learning new activities, there are plenty that you can pick up by simply tuning into YouTube. Then there are others that I would think would be more ideal in a more in-person setting. Take beekeeping for example. Gleaning from online sites might help to get you more familiar with the subject, but anyone that wants to take it a step further might want to attend a beginner class that discusses the ins and outs, and the ups and downs of the hobby.

As far as beekeeping resources go, in Western New York there are plenty of groups available that are considered invaluable resources. Whether it’s WNY Beekeepers, Masterson’s Garden Center, Western New York Honey Producers Association, or Busch Brothers Beekeeping, there is a wealth of information out there, right at our fingertips.
